Living and working in South Africa for many years, Mariska was fortunate to train with a Sangoma (a traditional medicine man/woman) using traditional and non invasive methods.

There the treatment was used on victims of land mines who had chronic “shadow” pain - where the limb was amputated but the brain still registered pain from the limb that is no longer there.

Mariska has also had great success with migraine headaches, gout, fibromyalgia, sporting injuries, soft tissue injuries, sciatica and anxiety using the Accupulse Machine.

Mariska specialises in Accupulse Therapy in which she uses a special machine to completely relax the body and lessen the pain. Often this pain is caused by the back and neck coming out of alignment or the pinching of nerves. After using the Accupulse Machine, Mariska uses her thumbs to gently rock each individual vertebrae back into place and uses the heel of her hand to secure them. Coaxing the spine back into realignment achieves a greater lessening of the pain. Sports and long-standing injuries are also helped by this machine.
